1947
May   Established with capital of JPY 180,000 as a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Mining Company Ltd. (now Mitsubishi Materials Corporation), we began mainly as a substitute purchaser of materials for our parent company and a provider of nonlife insurance services.
1948
June   Opened branches in Osaka and Sendai, and began selling chemical products.
1961
January   Opened a branch in Nagoya.
March   Opened a branch in Sapporo.
1962
March   Construction division expanded following registration with the Ministry of Construction under the Construction Business Act.
1963
July   Entered the quarrying business with the establishment of Ryoko Teine Saiseki Co., Ltd. at what used to be Teine Mine in Sapporo, Hokkaido
August   Opened a branch in Numazu.
1985
August   New building of Numazu branch completed.
1988
August   New building of Sagamihara Office completed.
1989
December   Opened a branch in Singapore.
1992
November   New building of Okazaki Office completed.
1994
December   Opened an office in Kanagawa.
1995
December   Opened a branch in Seoul.
1996
March   Established Ryoko Services Corporation by means of merger of service subsidiaries.
April   Opened an office in Niigata.
October   Kanagawa Office upgraded to branch status.
Opened a branch in Fukushima.
1998
January   Opened Bangkok Representative Office as Singapore Branch.
Hamamatsu Sub-office upgraded to full office status.
January   Business partnership formed with Alps Engineering Co., Ltd.
October   Opened an office in Nagasaki.
1999
April   Bangkok Representative Office closed and replaced by newly formed local subsidiary Ryoko Sangyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
November   Entered a sole agency agreement with Mirae Corporation of South Korea to distribute electronic surface mount devices (SMD mounters) in Japan.
2000
October   Entered a business partnership agreement with Toyo Co., Ltd. on high-speed image processing.
2001
April   Merged with Sanko Materials Co., Ltd.
April   Fukuoka Office upgraded to branch status.
April   Sapporo Office upgraded to branch status.
November   Entered a sole agency agreement with Vitronics Soltec BV of the Netherlands to distribute reflow furnaces in Japan.
2003
March   Terminated sole agency agreement with Vitronics Soltec BV of the Netherlands to distribute reflow furnaces in Japan.
June   Osaka Branch to acquired ISO 14001 certification.
October   Merged with Godo Kinzoku Co., Ltd.
December   Terminated sole agency agreement with Mirae Corporation of South Korea to distribute electronic surface mount devices (SMD mounters) in Japan.
2004
April   Opened an office in Shanghai.
April   Kanagawa Branch acquired ISO 9001 certification.
September   Head office and branches in Nagoya, Sendai, and Fukushima all examined and registered as ISO 14001-compliant organization.
December   Branches in Osaka and Himeji examined and registered as ISO 9001-compliant organization.
2005
September   Entire company examined and registered as ISO 14001-compliant organization.
2006
September   Opened a branch in Perth.
2007
January   Merged with Maruse Co., Ltd.
August   Became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation through a stock swap.
2010
April   Opened an office in Gimpo, South Korea.
2011
March   Silicon Parts Group examined and registered as ISO 9001 compliant.
September   Opened an office in Hanoi.
October   Fukuoka Branch and Nagasaki Office examined and registered as ISO 9001 compliant.
2012
October   Opened an office in Eunos, Singapore.
2013
March   Established PT. Ryoko Sangyo Indonesia.
2014
July   Chenged company name to Mitsubishi Materials Trading Corporation.
November   Perth Branch acquired ISO9001・ISO14001・OHSAS18001・AS99 certification
