Indonesia is enjoying remarkable economic growth, even among ASEAN nations, and is seen as not only a key Asian production base, but as a promising consumer market. Consumption and corporate investment is expected to continue growing here.

Recently automobile and parts makers in Japan and other countries have announced plans to increase production in Indonesia or plans to enter this market. Ryoko Sangyo established this subsidiary as a base in Indonesia with the aim of expanding business and capturing automobile-related demand, particularly for the products of Mitsubishi Materials and affiliate companies.
